GeoMemes staff give regular training sessions at our office in Victoria, at client offices, and at conferences.

All courses are taught by Charles Burnett, PhD and Patrick Hayes, BSc.

Courses Offered:

Web-based Information Management - Level 1
Duration: 2 days
Cost: $500 per person + HST
In this course we introduce you to Drupal, our web-based content management systems framework. We will explore the modules available in a community information systems (CIS). You will learn how to manage data, including how to add, delete, and modify nodes. We will explore multimedia data management. We will do simple changes to display of information in your CIS.

Web-based Information Management - Level 2
Duration: 2 days
Cost: $500 per person + HST
In this course we explore Drupal and our CIS modules more thoroughly. You will learn how to modify views and panels within your site. We will also review how site themes are made.

Building Map-Based Information Systems
Duration: 1 day intensive
Cost: $500 per person + HST
We run through all the technical issues with making mapping systems for the web using Drupal, OpenLayers and PostGIS. We will built a mock web-mapping site from scratch.
